About me - Gregorio Di Stefano

Welcome to my personal website.

I am currently a student in the Engineering and Computer Science department at Concordia University in Montreal, Qc, Canada completing my bachelor degree of Computer Science, Software Systems specialization. My projected graduation date is April 2012.

My site is rather new and is being updated with content. So far I've included some work from my first year in University, an embedded system I worked on for a software engineering course, and some personal projects. The documents section of this website is mostly technical documents I refer to often; so I created a section for them. 

During my University studies I have constantly been gaining industrial experience by working various information technology related positions. 

I am currently employed as a network analyst, however I have also worked for a couple of years in computer security, and as a mathematics tutor for a local school board.

My main interests in information technology are system administration, security, scripting, software development and quality assurance. I prefer working with, and am knowledgable in the UNIX environment, however I am also capable of working well under Windows. 

I speak English, French, and Italian.

I've always lived and studied in Montreal, Quebec, however I hold an EU Passport/Citizenship.

I enjoy travelling, and have spent a fair amount of time in Western/Northern Europe.
